Implementation of the Pro-PLUS solution for COVID-19 in Bulgaria

Last month, together with our long-term Bulgarian partner InterBusiness '91 we implemented our new telemedicine solution for monitoring of patients infected with COVID-19 at the Alexandrowska Hospital in Sofia. The Pro-PLUS system allows for continuous remote monitoring of heart rate, temperature and blood oxygen saturation - SpO2. All data is sent to the CardioPortal telemedicine platform via the BT-HUB device. In addition, at the Alexandrowska Hospital, the EHO-MINI Event Holter devices for cardiac monitoring were attached to the COVID-19 set, which enable automatic ECG recording with the possibility of performing an additional examination when the patient’s condition suddenly deteriorates.

Thanks to the Pro-PLUS solution for patients with COVID-19, medical personnel can continuously and remotely monitor the condition of patients in isolation rooms, without the need for direct contact with the patient. Data from the system is sent to one central location in the hospital, which allows for the monitoring of a larger number of patients. Such a solution increases the safety and efficiency of the work of medical personnel, facilitates the management of patients and enables appropriate response in emergency situations.

Soon we plan further implementations of Pro-PLUS system for COVID-19 in Bulgaria.
