Implementation of the Pro-PLUS solution for COVID-19 at the Czerniakowski Hospital in Warsaw
Times of a pandemic are extremely hard times for medical personnel and for hospitals. While developing a solution for patients infected with COVID-19, we aimed to support both healthcare professionals and to ensure greater safety for both hospitalized and home quarantined patients.
Last week we implemented the first 20 sets of COVID-19 solution at the Czerniakowski Hospital in Warsaw. The system consists of the EHO-MINI Event Holter device for cardiac monitoring, a pulse oximeter and a BT-HUB enabling the transmission of blood oxygen saturation and pulse measurements to the CardioPortal telemedicine platform, on which alarms and thresholds are set.
Thanks to these kits, medical personnel can remotely monitor the condition of patients in isolation rooms, without the necessity to enter the room, constant change of protective clothing and without the need for direct contact with the patient. Data from the system are collected in one central place in the hospital, which allows for monitoring of a larger number of patients at the same time. Thanks to this solution, medical personnel can easily manage patients and react appropriately when the patient’s condition suddenly deteriorates.
We are planning further implementations in the hospital soon.
